Top Narrow Based Indexes For September 19

By 10:15 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 233.26 points, or 2.03%, to 11,275.83, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had dropped 25.45 points, or 2.09%. The NASDAQ composite index fell 54.20 points, or 2.07%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are supporting the markets are Bond ETFs, which have gained 0.3%, Gold and Silver Stocks, down 0.1%, and Drug Distributor Stocks, moving 0.3% lower as a group. In Tickerspy's Bond ETFs complex, Vanguard Extended Dur Trs Idx ETF EDV had surged 3.1%. The best performing Tickerspy Gold and Silver stock has been Compania Mina Buenaventura SA BVN, which was up 2.3%. BVN's PEG ratio is 0.91. McKesson Corporation MCK is today's leading Tickerspy's Drug Distributor stock, gaining 0.3%. Analysts at Citigroup upgraded McKesson from “hold” to “buy.”
