WynnBET In Marketing Partnership With Detroit Pistons

WynnBET, the casino and sports betting app of Wynn Resorts, Limited WYNN, has entered into a new multiyear partnership with the Detroit Pistons covering several co-branded marketing efforts.

What Happened: The key element to the partnership is Wynn Wednesdays, a direct-to-consumer promotion exclusive to the WynnBET mobile app and website. Every Wednesday during the Pistons’ regular season, Wynn Wednesdays will offer opportunities to win Pistons-related prizes, including tickets to games, VIP experiences such as luxury in-suite hospitality and pop-up endeavors, and team and player memorabilia.

The partnership will also cover traditional sponsorship and advertising efforts featuring game day radio programs, social media, mobile app and in-arena promotions.

Why It Matters: In January, WynnBET received approval to launch by the Michigan Gaming Control Board, and is also available in Colorado and New Jersey. The app has secured market access opportunities in Indiana, Iowa, Massachusetts, Nevada and Tennessee and submitted for licensure in Virginia.

The Pistons partnership is the latest effort by WynnBET to expand its brand recognition through collaborations with high-profile sports franchises, including the Memphis Grizzlies.

The company has also focused on auto racing, gaining authorized gaming operator status with NASCAR and, pending licensure in Virginia, becoming the official online sportsbook at both Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway.
