Resona Net Profit Surges 57%

Resona Holdings Inc RSNHF reported a 57% rise in its net profit for the fiscal first half ended September. Resona's net profit for the period rose to Y128.24 billion, from Y81.78 billion, in the year-ago period. Group operating revenue fell 1.6% to Y453.24 billion versus Y460.40 billion.
