International Greetings Reports Flat Half-Year Profit

International Greetings PLC reported a flat half year profit. International Greetings posted its profit from continuing operations before tax, including exceptional costs, at GBP2.1 million, versus a year-ago profit of GBP2.1 million. Its profit before tax and exceptional items surged 50% to GBP3.2 million, from GBP2.1 million. International Greetings' sales climbed 6% to GBP110.3 million, from GBP104.5 million. Its operating profit before exceptional costs surged 38% to GBP5.2 million, from GBP3.8 million.
