Ballantyne's Subsidiary Partners With Illuminarium Atlanta For Cinematic Virtual Reality Experience

Ballantyne Strong Inc’s BTN wholly-owned subsidiary Strong/MDI Screen Systems Inc has partnered with Illuminarium Experiences to provide cinematic virtual reality experience for their first location in Atlanta, Georgia.
Illuminarium Atlanta presents WILD, using cinematic immersion to allow visitors to experience Africa's watering holes, plains, landscapes, and face animals.
Strong/MDI produced the high contrast Orion optical coating applied to all the projection walls within the venue to create a realistic encounter.
It has also provided patented speaker panels that allow the audio to penetrate through a solid projection surface with minimal distortion that is invisible to the human eye.
‘'Our team implemented some of the very critical technical elements within the venue, ultimately helping Illuminarium achieve their final vision to provide the most realistic immersive experience possible,” said Dustin Small, Director of Special Projects for Strong/MDI.
