Cubic Wins Air Force Contract for Advisory and Assistance Services; Worth A Maximum Of $4.7 Billion

Cubic Applications CUB is one of 29 companies awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Air Force worth a maximum of $4.7 billion. CAI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cubic Corporation and operates as the lead business entity of Mission Support Services (MSS), the services segment of Cubic. The multiple-award contracts are under the Air Force Contracted Advisory and Assistance Services (CAAS) IV program. As the Prime contractor for one of the Large Business (nonrestricted) awards, CAI's team includes Chenega Federal Systems, Gemini Industries, Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group, American Hospital Services Group, Apogee Solutions, DestinE Research Group, Georgia Tech Research Institute, Imagine One, ISHPI Information Tech, KMS Solutions, Knight Protective Service, ManTech SRS Technologies, Marton Technologies, Medical Faculty Associates, Object CTalk, Rickard Consulting Group, and Web Business Solutions, Inc. The contract is to meet the Air Combat Command and Air Force District of Washington advisory and assistance services requirement to provide support in the areas of management and professional support services; studies, analyses and evaluations; and engineering and technical services. The period of performance started December 15 and will run five years. Task orders may be issued in the form of firm-fixed-price, firm-fixed-price level-of-effort term, and cost-plus-fixed-fee term. AMIC/DRA, Newport News, Va., is the contracting activity.
