Notable Aehr Test Systems Insider Trades $12M In Company Stock

Mario Rosati, at Aehr Test Systems AEHR, made a large buy and sell of company shares on September 29, according to a new SEC filing.

What Happened: A Form 4 filing from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission states that Mario Rosati exercised options to purchase 25,183 Aehr Test Systems shares at prices ranging from $2.06 to $2,063 per share for a total of $12,829,762 on September 29. They then sold their shares on the same day in the open market. They sold at a price of $14.09 to raise a total of $53,542 from the stock sale.

Following the transaction, Rosati still owns 52,084 shares of Aehr Test Systems worth $679,696.

Aehr Test Systems shares are trading down 4.4% at $13.05 at the time of this writing on Friday morning.

Why Insider Transactions Are Important

Transaction code C indicates the conversion of an option, and transaction code A indicates the insider may have been forced to sell shares in order to receive compensation that had been promised upon being hired by the company.
