Anyone who has gone through the hiring process on either side of the desk, hiring managers and candidates alike, knows how painful the process can be. Job seekers waste hours applying to positions that aren’t really a good fit, and companies big and small, from Amazon.com Inc. AMZN to the neighborhood hardware store, pour thousands of dollars into finding the right person for the job, only to wade through countless candidates who either don’t meet their standards or are a poor culture fit.

The larger recruiting industry — led by the likes of Indeed 6098, owned by Recruit Holdings Co Ltd, ZipRecuiter Inc. ZIP; Monster.com, owned by Randstad N.V. RAND; and LinkedIn, owned by Microsoft Corp. MSFT — is a massive industry with revenues of just shy of $120 billion. And that is largely because of the pandemic. The industry has grown steadily until reaching its zenith in 2019, valued at $151.8 billion, according to Statista.com.

The team behind Recruiter.com Group Inc. RCRT is looking to shake things up. Already trusted by startups and Fortune 100 employers, the company is committed to making the entire recruiting process as smooth and rapid as possible for both sides. Recruiter.com looks to match only high-quality candidates with positions they would be excited to fill and to do it more efficiently than what is currently the standard.

The average hiring process costs a company $4,000 per position filled. For most hiring managers, two full days a week are spent sifting through candidate resumes. Recruiter.com believes it can cut these costs by up to half and significantly reduce hiring managers' time finding candidates to interview. The company uses AI technology to match candidates within its 150 million indexed profiles to positions they are qualified for.

If a company wants additional support, Recruiter.com has a network of 30,000 professional recruiters and recruiting teams that can step in and streamline the process even further. This service can be used to extend the capabilities of an in-house hiring team for larger companies or to fill the role in smaller companies without a staff on salary.

Led by CEO Evan Sohn, the company holds a core philosophy that is people-centric. “We are on a mission to connect people to people by providing companies of all sizes access to software subscription services and on-demand help from professional recruiters,” Sohn said.

If you would like to know more about Recruiter.com’s platform, check out Sohn’s presentation at Benzinga’s Small-Cap Conference Wednesday, Oct. 27th.
