TASER International, Inc. (NASDAQ: TASR) today announced two significant orders for its new TASER X2 electronic control device.

TASER received the first order from the Michigan Department of Corrections (

) for 242 TASER X2 ECDs with 242 TASER CAM™ HD recorders, 3,783 TASER cartridges and various related accessories. The X2s will be utilized in the majority of Michigan prisons. The second order received is from the Fort Worth Police Department (

) for 200 TASER X2 ECDs with extended warranties, 1,385 Smart cartridges and various related accessories.
