TASER International, Inc. (NASDAQ: TASR) today announced two significant orders for its new TASER X2 electronic control device.

TASER received the first order from the Michigan Department of Corrections (MI) for 242 TASER X2 ECDs with 242 TASER CAM™ HD recorders, 3,783 TASER cartridges and various related accessories. The X2s will be utilized in the majority of Michigan prisons. The second order received is from the Fort Worth Police Department (TX) for 200 TASER X2 ECDs with extended warranties, 1,385 Smart cartridges and various related accessories.
