Benzinga's Microcap Movers for Tuesday April 10, 2012

Below are highlights from Benzinga's daily coverage of microcap securities making big moves: Guanwei Recycling Shares of Guanwei Recycling GPRC, the China manufacturer and distribution of low density polyethylene from plastic waste, rose 32% Tuesday on 23 times the average daily volume. A Seeking Alpha article on Monday saying that Guanwei could be a three-bagger was most likely responsible for the big move. Guanwei Recycling closed at $1.64 on Tuesday. NetSol Technologies Shares of NetSol Technologies NTWK, the Calabasas, CA provider of IT services and enterprise solutions for leasing and finance, health care technology, insurance, and e-Procurement, rose 15% Tuesday on almost 3 times the average daily volume. NetSol Technologies announced that it has signed an agreement valued at approximately $4 million to implement its entire NetSol Financial Suite solution, including its Wholesale and Retail platforms, with the captive finance arm of a major Japanese auto manufacturer in the Asia Pacific Region. The name of the company is not being disclosed for competitive reasons. NetSol Technologies closed at $0.44 on Tuesday. Data I/O Shares of Data I/O DAIO, the Redmund, WA provider of programming solutions for semiconductor devices, fell 21% Tuesday on 6 times the average daily volume. Data I/O Corporation announced Monday that for the first quarter of 2012, it expects to report revenues of approximately $3.7 million and a net loss in the range of $1.7 to $2.0 million. Bookings for the quarter were $4.2 million, and backlog grew to $1.6 million as of March 31, 2012. The Company believes the decline in orders and revenue relates primarily to reduced capital spending resulting from economic uncertainty related to the European sovereign debt and to a downturn in Asia-based electronics manufacturing. Orders in those two regions were each down approximately 40% compared to the first quarter of 2011; however, orders from the Americas were up 14% compared to the first quarter of 2011. Data I/O closed at $2.88 on Tuesday.
