PKO BP Q1 Net Profit Surges 15%

Powszechna Kasa Oszczednosci Bank Polski SA PSZKF reported a 15% rise in its first-quarter net profit. Its quarterly net profit climbed to 1.0 billion zlotys ($302 million). However, analysts were expecting a net profit of PLN1.03 billion. Its net interest income surged around 20% to PLN2.06 billion. PKO BP's net fee income dropped 2% to PLN723 million.
