Today's Movers and Shakers

With about an hour left in the trading week, let's look at some stocks that had large moves today.

Big Lots BIG is up almost 5.5% two days after reporting earnings. There isn't a lot of news behind this move, however there was a large jump around 10:15 am which started the move higher.

Sandisk SNDK is up 5.1% on a day that chips stocks are outperforming. Micron Technologies MU is also up big today, gaining about 3.7% and Nividia NVDA is up 2.6% after positive comments at its investor day, which dragged other chip stocks higher with it.

Newfield Exploration NFX is up 4.3% on positive comments from Pritchard Capital. They note significant insider buying over the last few days in the stock, along with other nat gas companies.

Harman International Industries HAR is down 2.7% after Sony SNE ended its joint venture with Sharp to make and sell large LCD panels.

Priceline PCLN is down 2.3%, giving back recent gains. It has recently been under-performing its rival, Expedia EXPE.
