Consumer Services: This industry climbed 5.52% by 12:23 pm. The top gainer within the industry, Universal Travel Group UTA, added 11.28%. Brean Murray initiated coverage of UTA with a “buy” rating. Heavy Construction: This industry moved up 4.69% by 12:23 pm, with Fluor Corp FLR climbing 6.64% to gain the top spot. Construction and engineering company Fluor yesterday announced in a filing with the SEC that it could receive contracts that exceed $8.8 billion. General Contractors: The industry, which rose 4.38%, has the top gainer in the form of EMCOR Group Inc EME, which gained 10.09%. EME announced that four of its subsidiaries have been awarded contracts for the installation of mechanical, electrical, voice/data and controls systems for a renovation project that will create a new state-of-the-art Telemedicine Facility at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
