Suez Environnement SA SZEVY reported a drop in its net profit in the first half.
Suez Environnement's net profit for the period declined to 40 million euros, from EUR221 million, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of EUR149 million.
Its EBITDA dropped 4.9% to EUR1.13 billion. Revenue fell 0.7% to EUR7.32 billion from EUR7.38 billion, versus analysts' estimates of EUR7.31 billion.
Suez Environnement shares closed at $5.31 yesterday.
