India's Godrej Consumer Products Ltd reported a 45.6% drop in its April-June net profit.
Its quarterly consolidated net profit fell to 1.30 billion rupees ($23.3 million), versus INR2.39 billion, in the year-ago period.
The company's sales surged 39.2% to INR13.89 billion. However, total costs climbed 38.9% to INR12.10 billion.
