Electric vehicle company Tesla Inc TSLA often sells merchandise based on its products. Given the popularity of Tesla and its loyal base of fans and customers, products often sell out and are found later on auction sites such as eBay Inc EBAY for double or more than the original purchase price.
A formerly sold-out Tesla product has returned to the online store and has a price cut.
What Happened: Launched in December 2021, a Tesla belt buckle was available for purchase to celebrate the opening of Gigafactory Austin.
The belt buckle features the famous “T logo” of Tesla, is made from die-cast zinc and is brushed with an antique silver finish.
In addition to the logo, the belt buckle features the words “Don’t Mess With," which pays tribute to the state slogan, “Don’t Mess With Texas.”
“Celebrate our newest Gigafactory with Giga Texas Belt Buckle,” the company previously said.
As pointed out by Sawyer Merritt on Twitter, the belt buckle has returned to the online store and the price point is $100, a $50 price cut from the December $150 price.

Why It’s Important: Tesla offers merchandise and items online across the categories of charging, vehicle accessories, apparel and lifestyle.
Many fans buy the Tesla apparel and lifestyle products and it serves as free advertising for Tesla, a company that spends a minimal amount on advertising and does not do commercials on television for its products.
The price cut and return of the belt buckle could signal Tesla adding more products to its online store, which currently accepts payment with Dogecoin DOGE/USD as well.
Fans of Tesla or those looking for gifts for loved ones can also buy Tesla gift cards in any denomination or pre-set figures such as $69 and $420.
