- McDonald's Corp MCD has appointed Brian Rice as the Executive Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective August 31.
- Rice will report directly to CEO Chris Kempczinski.
- He had previously served in executive positions in businesses including Kellogg Co K, Mars, General Motors Co GM, and Cardinal Health, Inc. CAH.
- "Our innovations in digital and technology are powering our ambition to double down on our 3Ds (digital, delivery and Drive Thru," said CEO Chris Kempczinski.
- Price Action: MCD shares are trading higher by 0.75% at $265.34 on the last check Monday.
