- Volcon Inc VLCN plans to power all of its off-road utility terrain vehicles (UTV) with General Motors’ electric propulsion systems.
- The company will be the first off-road Powersports company to offer its full line of vehicles with GM’s electric propulsion.
- Volcon’s all-electric UTV, Volcon Stag, which is expected to debut in 2023 uses a number of supporting components from GM apart from battery cell modules.
- “We save an enormous amount of R&D expense and gain years of drivetrain testing and validation by joining forces with GM,” said CTO Christian Okonsky.
- Price Action: VLCN shares are trading higher by 11.30% at $2.16 on the last check Friday.
