Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), the world’s most valued cryptocurrency, traded lower on Friday, falling below the $21,500 level.
The second-most valued cryptocurrency, Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), also recorded losses, trading below the $1,700 level this morning.
Other popular crypto coins, including Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) and Solana (CRYPTO: SOL), also traded lower this morning.
Theta Fuel (CRYPTO: TFUEL) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Lido DAO (CRYPTO: LDO) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.03 trillion, recording a 24-hour decrease of 1.4%. BTC was trading lower by around 1.3% to $21,416, while ETH fell by around 2.3% to $1,661 on Friday.
Investors are now awaiting earnings results from JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd (NYSE:JKS), scheduled for release today.
