ANF Posts Narrower Q1 Losses, But Misses Estimates

Abercrombie & Fitch Company ANF losses narrowed in Q1 as the company’s sales improved across the globe. The New Albany, Ohio-based company said that its Q1 losses narrowed to $11.8 million, or $0.13 a share, as compared to losses of $59.2 million, or $0.68 a share, incurred a year earlier. Abercrombie & Fitch’s net sales climbed to $687.8 million, from $601.7 million, marking a 14% growth. Analysts were expecting the company to post a loss of $0.12 a share on sales of $687.8 million.
