Delta Executives Sells Shares; Barron’s (DAL)

Delta Air Lines DAL is on the path to stability, thanks to an improvement in the economy and the rise in air traffic. However, the company’s chief executive officer, Richard Anderson, has sold 100,000 of the airline’s shares. According to Barron’s, the selling was done at an average price of $13.47 apiece. The entire deal is worth $1.3 million. Delta Air Lines said that Anderson sold the shares due to personal reasons. The company’s president, Edward H. Bastian, also sold 25,000 shares at $13.48 each. Its Chief Financial Officer, Hank Halter, sold 15,000 shares at $13.56 each.
