According to Techcrunch, Barnes & Noble BKS has launched a new promotional event for its e-book reader. Under the terms of the new promotion, any customer visiting Barnes & Noble would get a free access code. This access code will allow the customer to download a free e-book. The promotion is likely to run for the next five weeks. The e-book can be downloaded on Barnes & Noble e-reader software and thus can be accessed via laptop, iPhone, BlackBerry and other compatible devices.
