Manu Terrones Godoy is KManuS88, one of the YouTubers of the moment: with more than 830,000 subscribers on the platform and an average of 100,000 views per video, he is dedicated to explaining the complex world of finance and playing NFT video games.

Within the framework of the “Unified” blockchain festival, KManus88 spoke exclusively with El Planteo about cryptocurrencies, video games, viral videos, and, of course, cannabis.

Between panels of experts and playful moments with arcades, the 33-year-old Argentine said that one of the things he likes most about the crypto world is the opportunities it offers.

“It opens up a world of opportunities not only economically and financially. It also gives ordinary people the possibility to invest, so that they can belong to projects that in the traditional financial world they could not,” he explained.

And he continued: "With cryptocurrencies you are independent and you can own any company."

How To Avoid Falling For Crypto Scams

Unfortunately, in recent times, the universe of cryptocurrencies has been shaken by various news reporting user scams and pyramid schemes.

For this reason, Manu gave his insight on this subject: "It is very common that when something becomes a trend, a lot of malicious projects or scams also appear, with the sole aim of raising money and leaving."

But don't despair: the specialized YouTuber has some tips that can help identify scams in the crypto world.

“The best way to protect yourself from a scam is to ask yourself ‘Who is doing it?’ If the creators do not show their faces, then you have to doubt. If a project is well done, the founder is going to want to take credit for creating it,” he recommended.

Likewise, KManuS placed special emphasis on the importance of educating oneself on a financial level: “You have to understand a lot about finances, the truth is that you have to educate yourself. Also, if you go to traditional markets and you don't dedicate yourself, it will be very similar, they can also scam you."

Manu, who was an engineering student and had a stable job, left everything at the age of 28 to become a YouTuber. Thus, little by little and with effort, he was harvesting a community.

His beginnings were closely linked to the world of video games. “I started uploading gamer content. But then I began to learn about investments, to invest, to read economics, and, of course, I fell in love with that universe," he said.

And suddenly, flash!: he met blockchain video games. “My two worlds collided, video games and cryptocurrencies. Everything that I liked was connected.”

What excites you most about blockchain video games? KManuS Dixit: “That progress that one has in the game becomes yours, you become its owner. You can advance, own that advance and even sell it if you want.”

One thing is for sure: Terrones Godoy's voice does not tremble when he recognizes that video games and cannabis are a spectacular pairing.

"I'm super, super in favor," he said. "The truth is that cannabis, today, is already very accepted in the world."

In addition, raised in the province of Buenos Aires, he maintains that there is no more pleasant moment than sharing a joint and video game with friends.

“You get together with friends, you are playing and sharing the experience. For me, it is a moment of complete pleasure.”

— I like parties more than a good sandwich. Within my channel, I am quite serious and academic, but the truth is that when there is an event and they know that I am going, they prepare the party. KManuS' Secret To Making A Viral Video

With more than 800 thousand subscribers on YouTube and an average of 100 thousand views per video, it is clear that Manu Terrones Godoy knows a thing or two about producing content that will hit the networks.

But what is his secret? Do you have a magic formula to paste on the web? Or do you just upload content “a piacere”?

During his interview with El Planteo, KManuS clarified that no, it's not as easy as simply uploading a video and waiting for it to get views.

On the contrary, each video has a strategy behind it. “It is like any venture or any project that one has. There will always be someone else doing the same thing. So what you have to think about is how you are going to stand out,“ he explained.

"It's not magic," he continued. “It's not that the algorithm makes you famous. The algorithm is there, but one has to surf it. And for that, one has to learn and study.”

Moreover, for Manu, the key is to understand what the trends are and what people are looking for on the Internet.

“To find trends you have Google Trends. Or, also, you can pay attention to what people are talking about,” he added.

And, as a last piece of advice, he added: “Think if you have a need or a concern, surely there are other people who experience the same thing. And try to satisfy that need.”
