Top Narrow Based Indexes For September 26, 2012

By 10:40 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 46.60 points, or 0.35%, to 13,410.95, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had dropped 10.64 points, or 0.74%. The NASDAQ composite index fell 35.90 points, or 1.15%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are still afloat in the markets are Tobacco and Tobacco Product Stocks, which have gained 1.5%, Extended Care Provider Stocks, up 1.2%, and Chinese Agriculture Stocks, moving 1.0% higher as a group. In Tickerspy's Tobacco and Tobacco Product complex, Star Scientific STSI had surged 3.6%. Star Scientific had $10.64 million in total cash for the latest quarter. The best performing Tickerspy Extended Care Provider stock has been Capital Senior Living CSU, which was up 7.1%. Capital Senior Living's trailing-twelve-month revenue is $283.92 million. Yongye International YONG is today's leading Tickerspy's Chinese Agriculture stock, gaining 1.6%. Yongye's PEG ratio is 0.21.
