VeeCon 2023 Dates And City Announced: What You Need To Know About NFT Festival

The world’s first NFT-ticketed conference is returning for its second year in 2023. Here are the key details on VeeCon 2023.

What Happened: Gary Vee and VeeFriends announced Tuesday that VeeCon 2023 will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 18 through May 20, 2023.

“Hey, it’s Gary Vee with a humongous announcement,” Vee said in a video.

Vee read from a piece of paper from one of his VeeFriends characters.

“Whoa, it is Indianapolis, Indiana.”

The event will be held at several locations in Indianapolis, including Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts. Last year’s VeeCon was held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and featured U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, as the key venue.

“VeeCon brings together iconic leaders from business, Web3 and pop culture,” the release reads.

Vee said the 2023 event will have over 100 speakers. The event will feature keynote speeches, educational talks, panels, interviews and entertainment.

The three-day event kicks off on May 18. Here is a look at the schedule:

• May 18: 1 p.m., TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park, VeeCon Field Day, Opening Night Concert
• May 19: 9 a.m., Lucas Oil Stadium, Speakers & Activations, Evening Entertainment
• May 20: 9 a.m., Lucas Oil Stadium, Speakers & Activations, Evening Entertainment

VeeCon 2023 tickets are issued as NFTs and will be given to holders of VeeFriends Series 1 NFTs. Tickets will be available on secondary markets after they are issued to holders.

Why It’s Important: VeeCon includes many of the biggest names in the Web3 space and was one of the marquee NFT events held in 2022. Called an “unconference,” VeeCon seeks to build relationships, community and provide education in the Web3 space.

“We’re gonna do it bigger and badder than we did in 2022,” Vee said.
