Ray Dalio: One of the Most Influential People In Web3

Dalio, who founded Bridgewater Associates out of his New York City apartment in 1975, grew the investment firm into what Fortune magazine called the fifth most important private company in the U.S.

The billionaire was named among the top 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine. 

A global macro investor for more than 50 years, Dalio changed global investing, and his thinking has impacted global macroeconomic policies. Dalio serves on the board at Bridgewater and became a #1 New York Times bestselling author with "Principles: Life and Work," "Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order," and "Principles for Navigating Big Debt Crises."

Dalio described the thriving culture at Bridgewater, and the secret to his success, as "an idea meritocracy that strives to achieve meaningful work and meaningful relationships through radical transparency." 

Despite his early misgivings about volatility, by December 2020, Dalio called Bitcoin BTC/USD an "amazing accomplishment" and one of the few "alternative gold-like assets at this time of rising need for them".

Because of his leadership in global investing, it would be an honor to have Dalio attend the December Benzinga crypto events.
