Ruptured Nord Stream's Operator Permitted To Look In Danish Water

Nord Stream AG, the ruptured Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline operator, has been permitted to survey an area in Danish waters.
The operator has sent a chartered ship to waters off the coast of Sweden to inspect the damage to the pipeline, the Danish Geodata Agency told Reuters.
Sweden and Denmark have concluded that explosions caused four leaks on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines but have not said who might be responsible. An act of sabotage is also a possibility.
The application, sent to the Danish Geodata Agency on Oct. 13, was given the green light on Nov. 1, an agency spokesperson said. It allows Nord Stream AG to survey depths in Denmark's exclusive economic zone.
Initial data from the operator's investigations in Swedish waters found "technogenic craters," meaning artificial, with a depth of 3-5 meters on the seabed at a distance of about 248 meters from each other.
The section of the pipe between the craters is destroyed, and the radius of pipe fragments dispersion is at least 250 meters.
