Former President Donald Trump will contest the 2024 presidential election, according to a statement.
Trump made the "special announcement" live on the video-streaming platform Rumble. He appeared with former first lady Melania Trump at his Mar-A-Lago estate.
He has filed federal paperwork declaring his 2024 campaign, reported Axios.
Trump began his speech with chants of “USA! USA!” by his supporters.
"America's comeback starts right now," said Trump.
“We turned the page on globalist sellouts,” said the former president while touting his first-term achievements.
