U.S. stocks traded lower, with the Dow Jones dropping around 70 points on Monday. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s session.

• Imago BioSciences, Inc. IMGO shares jumped 104% to $35.50 after Merck announced it would acquire the company for $36 per share in cash.
• Sotera Health Company SHC rose 40.4% to $8.45. Barclays, last week, downgraded Sotera Health from Equal-Weight to Underweight and lowered the price target from $7 to $6.
• NWTN Inc. NWTN gained 40.3% to $7.13.
• Meta Materials Inc. MMAT shares jumped 25.9% to $2.09 after dropping around 7% on Friday.
• GrafTech International Ltd. EAF gained 22.5% to $5.17 after the company said it could resume operations at its Monterrey, Mexico facility.
• Companhia Paranaense de Energia – COPEL ELP gained 20.7% to $7.93.
• HireRight Holdings Corporation HRT gained 12.3% to $10.43. HireRight Holdings 10% owner GAP (Bermuda) L.P. acquired a total of 554,988 shares an average price of $9.64.
• PepGen Inc. PEPG surged 11.3% to $17.48.
• Beyond Air, Inc XAIR rose 10.8% to $6.44. Beyond Air recently posted a Q2 loss of $0.40 per share.
• Belite Bio, Inc BLTE jumped 10.7% to $29.89. Belite Bio recently finalized Phase 3 clinical trial plans for advanced dry AMD treatment with Tinlarebant (LBS-008).
• Humacyte, Inc. HUMA gained 8.5% to $3.18. The company recently posted downbeat quarterly results.
• Generation Bio Co. GBIO surged 7.5% to $5.59. Canaccord Genuity initiated coverage on Generation Bio with a Buy rating and announced a price target of $9.
• The Walt Disney Company DIS rose 7% to $98.22. Disney said Robert A. Iger is returning to lead the company as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
