Five Stocks Trading Below Book Value (DJI, ZION, JPM, MI, AA, FITB)

After the recent market selloff that has driven the Dow (DJI) down more than 1,000 points from its 2010 highs and below the 10,000 level, I decided to look for some companies that are trading below book value. I am sensing some irrational selling at this point and the fear is creating exceptional long-term value. Here are five stocks I found that I may consider going long: Zions Bancorp. ZION book value $26.89, current share price $22.00. JP Morgan JPM, book value $39.40, current share price $37.46. Marshall & Ilsley MI, book value $13.01, current share price $7.17. Alcoa, Inc. AA, book value $12.36, current share price $10.60. Fifth Third Bancorp FITB, book value of $12.32, current share price $12.28.
