Home Depot Only Positive Dow Component Today (HD)

There really has been no place for spooked investors to hide in U.S. equity markets over the last couple of weeks. All industry sectors, as well as commodities, have experienced a broad sell off, which is continuing today. Currently, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has fallen 186 points, or 1.86%, to 9,879. The only Dow componenet which is in the green today is Home Depot HD, which has rallied substantially to $33.25 after opening the trading day at $32.54. Even after moving up throughout the morning, however, the stock is still only up 0.03% on the session.
