Iberdrola 9-Month Net Profit Up 12%

reported a 12% rise in its net profit in the first nine months of the year. Iberdrola's net profit for the period surged to 2.4 billion euros ($3.12 billion), from EUR2.14 billion, in the year-ago period. Its total sales increased 8% to EUER25.24 billion. Iberdrola shares closed at $20.02 yesterday.
