Costco Wholesale Corporation COST announced on Thursday morning that it beat consensus Wall Street estimates.
Costco Wholesale Corporation reported that its fiscal 3rd quarter earnings jumped to $306 million, or 68 cents per share, up from $210 million, or 48 cents per share, a year earlier.
Revenue climbed 12% to $17.78 billion from a year earlier and same store sales rose 10%.
According to a survey of analysts by Thomson Reuters, the average Wall Street estimate called for earnings of 66 cents per share, on revenue of $17.63 billion.
