Is the correction already over? The Dow is soaring 239 points, or 2.40%, to 10,213 today. The blue chip index is already up some 400 points from its lows on Tuesday. Some names are already well off their lows from just a few days ago. U.S. Steel is surging 7 percent today to $48.34. Two days ago it hit a low of $43.60, up 10.9 percent from that level. Freeport-McMoRan FCX is up 6 percent today to $70.64. Three days ago the stock touched $62.77, up 12.5 percent from that level. Microsoft MSFT is up nearly 4 percent today to $26.01. Yesterday the stock hit $24.56, up 5.9 percent from that level. Citigroup C hit a low of $3.53 last week. The stock is currently at $4.00, up 13 percent from that level.
