Bitcoin BTC/USD traded slightly higher, with the cryptocurrency prices remaining above the key $22,000 level on Monday.

Ethereum ETH/USD, also edged higher, trading above the key $1,600 mark on Friday.

STEPN GMT/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Optimism OP/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.05 trllion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.3%. BTC was trading higher by 0.1% at $22,894, while ETH rose by around 0.1% to $1,633 on Friday.
