President Joe Biden's personal lawyer said that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is searching the president's home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, as part of an investigation into classified documents.
- In a statement, Biden's attorney said the search was "planned" with the president's "full support."
- Bob Bauer's Wednesday statement said, "Today, with the President's full support and cooperation, the DOJ is conducting a planned search of his home in Rehoboth, Delaware."

- Most recently, the FBI searched a think tank linked to Biden after his aides found classified documents at the organization's private office in mid-November.
- As per the reports, the investigation relates to a broader probe into handling classified documents.
- Those attorneys found classified records in Wilmington but not in Rehoboth, CNBC wrote, citing Bauer.
- "Under DOJ's standard procedures, in the interests of operational security and integrity, it sought to do this work without advance public notice, and we agreed to cooperate," Bauer said.
