Nice Systems Wins A Security Deal: Oppenheimer (NICE, MFE, SVR)

Oppenheimer, in its weekly report tracking the software market, has noted that the sector is concerned about the fiscal health of certain EU members and its implication for US equities. Nice Systems Ltd. NICE announced securing a $5 million security deal in India. It also acquired privately held Lamda Communications Networks. The company also reiterated its outlook for the year. McAfee Inc. MFE also reiterated its 2Q guidance with the caveat that recent euro weakness could hurt the quarter. McAfee (MFE) also talked about expansion of the endpoint opportunity through Tops conversion and non-traditional endpoints. Syniverse Holding SVR announced that it has been selected by Kenyan mobile operator Safaricom to support its mobile roaming services. The company also stated that Safaricom will join a list of more than 50 operators on the African continent relying on SVR for a range of solutions.
