In another step to help humanity, Musk offered some advice to world leaders while speaking virtually at the World Government Summit.
“I know this is called the World Government Summit, but I think we should be a little concerned about becoming too much of a single world government,” Musk told the audience.
Musk pointed to the rise and fall of certain civilizations over time not impacting other parts of the world, due to the separation of civilizations.
“While Rome was falling, Islam was rising …That ended up being the source of preservation of knowledge and many scientific advancements.”
Musk said we want to be cautious about being too much of a single civilization.
“We want to avoid creating civilization risks by having frankly, this may sound a little odd, too much cooperation between governments.”
