Cannabis Training University (CTU), an online cannabis school based in Denver, Colorado, has received accreditation from the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), becoming the first online cannabis school to do so. The IACET accreditation allows CTU to issue Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits for all of its cannabis career training courses.
Jeff Zorn, CEO of CTU, expressed his delight at being the first online cannabis college to receive the IACET accreditation. "Since IACET is recognized as the official standard for continuing education and training (CE/T) all over the world, our CEUs and accreditation will really mean something to our students and their employers," he said.
Karen Getchell, CTU’s Director of Content Development, acknowledged the rigorous process required to obtain the IACET accreditation. "We needed to show that we’ve put together a program that both addresses the learners’ needs and proves those needs have been met," she said. CTU met IACET's standards with flying colors, demonstrating that their cannabis career training programs meet the highest level of quality.
Jenifer Marks, CTU’s Creative Director and Accreditation Officer, proudly announced that students gave their cannabis career training programs an average rating of 4.59 out of 5. "Not only is our cannabis school accredited, but students love our online programs," she said.
CTU offers a wide range of cannabis career training programs, including cultivation, dispensary operation, business, cooking, extraction, and more. Students who successfully complete the online courses will be awarded IACET CEU credits, which are internationally recognized and can be used to enhance their career prospects.
The IACET accreditation is a significant milestone for CTU, reinforcing its position as a reputable and credible online cannabis school. As the cannabis industry continues to grow, there is a need for high-quality training and education, and CTU is well-positioned to provide this to students looking to enter or advance in the industry. CTU's goal is to provide their students with the best possible education and training to help them succeed in their chosen cannabis career paths.
