What's Going On With Robinhood Stock?

Robinhood Markets Inc HOOD shares are moving around in Wednesday's after-hours session after a filing revealed that chief operating officer Gretchen Howard plans to retire.

What To Know: According to a regulatory filing, Howard informed the company on March 10 that she plans to retire at the end of 2023. The exiting COO plans to transition to an advisory role on April 3, 2023, to work on special projects with upper management, but she will remain with the company in some capacity until the end of the year.

Robinhood entered into a letter agreement to reflect the transition, which shows that Howard will be reporting to CEO Vlad Tenev for the remainder of her time at the company, beginning early next month.

HOOD Price Action: Robinhood has a 52-week high of $16.49 and a 52-week low of $6.81, according to Benzinga Pro.

The stock was down 0.43% after hours at $9.15 after rising approximately 1% during regular trading hours Wednesday.
