In 2006, over 2.3 million Americans were incarcerated, but only one managed to escape a federal maximum-security wing while under 24-hour surveillance: Quawntay "Bosco" Adams. Sentenced to 35 years behind bars for the distribution of marijuana, Adams made a miraculous escape.
Now, Quawntay Adams is producing an original motion picture soundtrack for the feature film "Bosco," based on his incredible story.
The soundtrack for "Bosco" will feature hip-hop giants, ensuring a solid marketing foundation through social media partnerships with these artists. Currently, the lineup includes Snoop Dogg, The Game, Dave East, Steven Young French Montana, DDG and King Bone.
Quawntay Adams, the producer behind the film, was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison for possession of marijuana. Motivated by the desire to return to his daughter, who was born eight months after his arrest, Adams attempted to escape from custody several times. He gained international notoriety through NatGeo's documentary series "Breakout." Adams went on to self-publish a memoir titled "Chasin' Freedum," which was adapted into the feature film "Bosco."
In July 2020, after executing one of the most ingenious prison breaks in US history, Adams pulled off his greatest escape by firing his attorney, representing himself, and winning his freedom after serving 16 years in custody.
In addition to producing "Bosco," Quawntay Adams is also producing a documentary titled "Chasin' Freedum." He is actively working with his non-profit organizations, the Chasin' Freedum Foundation, aimed at reducing the prison population of non-violent drug offenders, and the I-CAN Youth Foundation, which helps at-risk youths through sports and mentorship. Adams will be featured in the 2022 season of "Great Escapes," narrated and hosted by Morgan Freeman.
