  • Beginning April 1, music fans will experience Spatial Audio in a limited-time Pop-Up Studio featuring the rising K-pop group, NewJeans, from ADOR. 
  • On Friday and Saturday evenings, Apple will treat attendees to a special listening session featuring their hit track "OMG (Apple Music Edition).
  • It marks the iPhone maker's fifth store in the center of Seoul's posh Gangnam district, with local media reporting plans to open a sixth this year. Seoul would then have more Apple Stores than iPhone-loving Tokyo, Bloomberg reports.
  • Apple is also hiring employees to staff Apple's debut stores in Malaysia and has plans to set up its retail outlets in India
  • Apple now has a retail team of nearly 800 in South Korea, according to Patrick Schuerpf, director of Apple's retail business in Asia.
  • Apple's use of the K-pop band is part of a playbook often employed by Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd SSNLF, which has a BTS edition smartphone in the arch-rival's home ground.
