On the two-year anniversary of New York legalizing homegrown and adult-use cannabis, NY Small Farma (NYSF) will host a cannabis cultivation-focused event to get New Yorkers growing. The beginner-friendly event, Opportunities in NY Cannabis Cultivation, will introduce participants to regulated cannabis cultivation and its possibilities while remaining centered on bringing social equity to the industry on March 31, 2023.
The cultivator community-oriented program will focus on connecting participants with educational information and opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship. Participants will attend panels covering topics such as cultivation and social equity, homegrow, and introduction to cultivation. They will have the chance to network during exhibition sessions with displays from cannabis organizations, government officials, farmers, licensed processors, and growers. The event will also offer training in cannabis plant science and training with certification for Budtending. The event will also host homegrow vendors for organic amendments and seeds as well as cannabis accessory merchandise.
