Ethereum ETH/USD, meanwhile, edged lower, but remained above the key $1,800 mark this morning.

1inch Network 1INCH/USD < was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Flare FLR/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.19 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.5%. BTC was trading higher by 1.2% at $28,675 while ETH fell by around 0.1% to $1,805 on Thursday.
