Peter/PetraMD announced the intent to acquire Ketamine Wellness Centers. If successful, the acquisition would represent an entry into the ketamine space for Peter/PetraMD.
Peter/PetraMD has said they intend to maintain continuity of care for current patients of Ketamine Wellness Centers while also seeking to expand into the national market with the knowledge and expertise provided by leadership. “I saw an incredible opportunity for Peter/PetraMD to truly expand the footprint and the success of ketamine treatment not only in our veteran population, but also at the national level,” stated Dr. Bryan Henry, founder and a former combat veteran who is currently a successful ketamine patient. “This is a chance for more of our veteran community to have access to the care they desperately need,” Dr. Henry relays.
PeterMD will pay $1.15 million in tranches over twelve months plus the assumed existing debt to buy KWC subject to due diligence period, negotiation of a definitive agreement and $100,000 non refundable deposit. “We understand telemedicine, and we understand what it is our patients want—they want to feel better, they want to get better, and they want to live better lives. This acquisition would definitely further our mission to provide affordable and equitable access to healthcare across the nation,” stated Cutter Streeby, chief growth officer.
