Oklahoma Man Busted For Trafficking Weed In Counterfeit Amazon Delivery Van

After a prolonged federal investigation, a significant illicit marijuana operation was disrupted in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma Business Owner Facing Drug Conspiracy Charges

According to the charges, Brandon Ye, the owner of Arch Granite & Cabinetry was using a counterfeit Amazon delivery vehicle to transport large amounts of illicit weed across the region.

In fact, the FBI and Oklahoma's Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (OBN) accused him of using the Amazon delivery van to traffic grey market marijuana in the state.

Although Ye went undetected for a long time, as described in the federal court records, he now faces a drug conspiracy charge in Oklahoma City federal court, per the Oklahoman.

Last week, he was taken into custody and released on $250,000 cash bond. "We maintain our innocence and look forward to our day in court," said Ye's attorney.

Court Documents Show

According to court documents, Ye's business served as a warehouse and pickup spot.

He would drive the Amazon van to marijuana grows to load vacuum-sealed packages into black trash bags, which were then transported to Ye's stash houses.

The weed was then repackaged and transported to his Oklahoma City warehouses, where a truck would be loaded with the weed to ship out of state. Law enforcement intercepted one of the trucks in February and found "approximately 2,700 pounds of packaged marijuana during a traffic stop on a semi-truck in Indiana," per KOCO Oklahoma City.

In related news, the OBN recently reported that the agency’s investigation linked sex trafficking, prostitution, and drug trafficking to medical marijuana farms across the state.
