Exclusive: Shaking Up Massachusetts' Booming Edibles Market With 100m THC Koko Gemz Variety Pack

Vertically-integrated cannabis company, 4Front Ventures Corp. FFNT FFNTF enriched its cannabis-infused chocolate portfolio with the launch of “Koko Gemz Variety Pack'' in Massachusetts. The new product offering features four chocolate flavors – Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Cookies & Cream and Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate – each made by the company’s master chocolatiers using handcrafted Belgian chocolates.

Each variety pack contains a mix of 20 Koko Gemz with 5mg of THC, or 100mg of THC in each box.

“We’ve been very impressed with the edibles product category over the past few years, and are excited to unveil our latest offering with the Koko Gemz variety pack,” 4Front Ventures executive vice president, Brandon Mills told Benzinga. “Edibles sales have grown consistently, from $2.2 billion in 2020, to $2.9 billion in 2021 and then to $3.4 billion in 2022. They also have excellent growth and market share in our key states, especially Massachusetts where the new Koko Gemz pack is launching. Edibles make up 13.8% of the market there, the second highest percentage across all states in the US. The product category grew 18.8% year over year, the third highest in the country.”

On Sunday May 14th, 4Front will run a special Mother’s Day promotion at its Mission Dispensaries in Massachusetts. If customers buy a KoKo Gemz Variety Pack, they can purchase a Left Handed product for just $5.00. In addition, free uninfused samples of Koko Gemz will be available throughout the day at 4Front's Mission Dispensaries in Georgetown, Worcester, and Brookline, Massachusetts.
