HTC Q4 Net Profit Drops 91%

HTC HTCKF reported a 91% drop in its fourth-quarter net profit. HTC's quarterly net profit declined to $1.00 billion New Taiwan dollars ($34.4 million), versus NT$10.94 billion, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a profit of NT$666 million. Its revenue fell 41% to NT$60 billion, versus NT$101.42 billion.
