Tesla Inc TSLA shares are volatile on Tuesday. The EV company will hold its annual shareholder meeting after the bell and CEO Elon Musk is set to speak with CNBC's David Faber following the event.
What To Know: Tesla will host its 2023 shareholder meeting at its Texas gigafactory at 4 p.m. ET. There will be a vote on a handful of proposals including a board nomination, an approval of executive pay and an auditor approval.
Investors will be hoping for recent product development updates and potential production timelines. Investors will also be anxious to hear how Musk plans to spend his time after announcing that he will step down from his role at the helm of Twitter last week.

Following the shareholder meeting, Musk will be interviewed by Faber on CNBC. Previewing the event Tuesday morning on CNBC's "Squawk On The Street," Faber said he is prepared to talk about everything from Tesla, Twitter and AI to SpaceX and Mars.
"You can go on and on. That's what should, we hope, make it a fascinating interview," Faber said.
TSLA Price Action: Tesla shares were down close to 1% Tuesday morning before bouncing back. The stock was up 0.06% $166.47 at the time of publication, according to Benzinga Pro.
