KBR Bags New Contract, Boosting Its Presence In The Indo-Pacific Region

KBR Inc KBR has received a contract worth $24 million from 94th Army Air and Missile Defense Command (94th AAMDC) in Japan.
The contract win supports KBR's goal of expanding its base operations support services in the Indo-Pacific region.
Per the terms, KBR will offer mission-critical base operations and infrastructure services at Kyogamisaki and Shariki Communication Sites (KCS and SCS) in the coming five years.

Our team supports exercises throughout the region, including in Thailand and the Philippines, allowing the U.S. to maintain strategic positioning and strengthen its relations in the Indo-Pacific. Earlier this month, KBR reported Q1 2023 revenue of $1.7 billion — a slight decline of 0.64% year-over-year, +18% ex-OAW, beating the consensus of $1.61 billion. The company was awarded $3.1 billion of bookings and options in the quarter.
Price Action: KBR shares traded lower by 0.53% at $58.60 on the last check Tuesday.
